My Story
My Approach
With younger children and babies my calm and caring nature helps to reassure and guide parents through those early days after the little one has arrived. My experience allows me to support parents as they establish feeding and gentle routines.
I am passionate about taking babies and children out and about to discover the world around them. From walks and country trails to trips to the park or library there is so much to show them!
At home I love to cook with and for the children I care for, healthy delicious meals and tasty treats whilst having lots of fun weighing, measuring and decorating together. I also love to create mini masterpieces with lots of arts and crafts and getting messy.

When it comes to discipline I work with parents to establish good habits and manners to help children become caring and thoughtful individuals. I take a firm but fair approach, with consistency and patience being key.

I am able to support and encourage all areas of child development in a safe and nurturing environment whilst having lots of fun!

I grew up in Northampton and always loved babies and young children. I knew from a young age I would work in Childcare and after school I went to college and studied Childhood Health and Development for 3 years.
After 2 long term nanny positions and helping one of my families relocate to New York I got the travel bug and decided to work overseas as a nanny in a ski resort. Fast forward 9 years and I had worked all over the world taking care of children and their families enjoying ski and summer holidays. Add in one (now) husband and I was ready to settle back in the UK and have my own family.
After becoming a mum myself I developed a passion for Antenatal education and post natal support. Now I love helping families in and around Milton Keynes learning about birth and caring for newborn babies and I offer childcare for very young babies right through to teenagers.

In 2018 I trained with The Real Birth Company to become a certified Antenatal teacher. I complete refresher training every 2 years.

I have been registered with Ofsted and a member of PACEY since 2017. My last Childminding inspection was in March 2022 where I received a 'Good' grading. I am DBS cleared and on the update service.
